Work > Performance

Nathan Meltz creates music/performance projects, telling the story of an immortal mechanical mind as it gets reincarnated as various malevolent technologies, from the Enola Gay to a Missile Command Atari 2600 game cartridge.

The first iteration, titled the Machine that Wouldn't Die, took the form of a costumed punk band, featuring musicians Andrew Lynn, Silvia Ruzanka, Ryan Jenkins, Kim Tateo, and Nathan Meltz.

The second iteration, titled Machine Revival, continues the story with Meltz and Tateo in a the tradition of a minimal pop format.

Machine Revival is available to perform at artist spaces, galleries, museums, and the occasional dingy rock club. Contact Nathan at nathanmeltz (at) for inquiries.
